The great debate---should you workout in the morning or in the evening? I used to struggle with this and honestly, I've done both and can argue both sides. However, after doing some research and investigating, I've discovered that there are a few more benefits to getting your workout done in the a.m.
Wouldn't it be awesome to have Shaun T, the creator of Insanity, Asylum Volume I and II, Focus T25, and now Insanity Max: 30, come to your house and workout with you?
I just recently jumped in on a Facebook group where this guy, Todd Midget, is actually best friends with Shaun Thompson through his work with Beachbody as a Beachbody Coach! Isn't that crazy? I followed this guy on YouTube for years and all of a sudden I see Shaun T taping videos in this guys basement (or garage or wherever he does his videos).
Todd Midget is a hardworking Beachbody Coach and has put out more YouTube videos than probably any other Beachbody Coach that I know of, and now he's BFFs with the Insanity Creator? WTF?
If you are doing the 21 Day Fix Nutrition Plan or Insanity Max:30 and you are following the portion control meal plan, chances are you may experience some hunger from time to time.
And the biggest thing for me is there are sooo many options out there. There's the Dolce Diet to get shredded, there's the Paleo Diet, the Metabolism Diet, and Ketogenic Diet, Carb Cycling... It's endless! And around every corner it's tempting to stray from what you know works to try this new "trend" that may "make the difference".
And even though I've tried some of these new diets, there's always something about it that makes it not work for me, whether it's I'm too hungry, put on weight, low energy, etc.
This is a little different post than I typically do but I shared this on Instagram and wanted to share it here on my blog as well! Enjoy!
I listened to this podcast last night by @lewishowes and Anthony Robbins and it was amazing! If you don't listen to podcasts, you need to start. There is so much info available to you! I hear stories about people not having money to invest in themselves and all of this info is out there for free.
He shares a lot of interesting things in this interview and the biggest thing that stood out to me was the role that gratefulness plays in successful peoples lives.
He takes a few minutes each morning and just focuses just a few minutes on what he is grateful for, one of which is something small, like look in his kid's eyes, having the opportunity to work and provide, etc.
The other thing was if you are struggling in an area, focus on helping someone else who could benefit from being your position. For example, if you are struggling in fitness and nutrition but you've been able to lose 10 lbs, find someone else and help them lose 10 lbs like you have! By focusing on others you'll be putting value out there and will come back to you!
Tony also tells some great stories and some great #personaldevelopment books! "Man's Search for Meaning" is next on my reading list!
