Happy Easter! I know sometimes this day gets overshadowed unfortunately by the Easter Bunny, Easter Egg hunts, and candy, but remember the real reason for our celebration today while trying to avoid over-stuffing yourself on ham and apple pie---that Christ died for our sins and today rose from the grave by the power of God. So celebrate, enjoy your family, and be sure to praise God however you and your family choose to do so!
And I don't know about you but we went grocery shopping for the week, we picked up a whole 2.5 dozen eggs, got home and realized that "Hey, honey... we already have 2.5 dozen hard-boiled eggs in the refrigerator... you realize we'll have to eat those this week, right?!" LOL!
So in honor of all the eggs we have in our fridge, I wanted to share 3 Recipes that might get you through this week and get rid of those eggs!
We are just about to wrap up our first week of our Primal/Paleo Challenge which we kicked off with the #ST7DaySlimDown. And I wanted to share with you an example of what a typical day looks like using this meal plan just to give you an idea of what you're in for ;)
This June Team Beachbody will be launching their newest workout program from trainer Chalene Johnson called PiYo, which is a mix between Pilates and Yoga. It's Ab/Core, Flexibility, and Strength based workout that is going to be appropriate for ANY fitness level. The great thing about this program is it's going to fill the gap for those that can't do the high impact programs such as Insanity, TurboFire, P90X3, or Focus T25. And with this program they won't have to!
As the starting date gets closer and closer, here's a little more info on how what exactly we'll be doing for the Challenge. And since I'm relatively new to Primal we'll be relying on some great information from Mark Sisson and his website Mark's Daily Apple.
Make sure you've registered to get on our Primal/Paleo Challenge mailing list so you can get added to our Facebook Group.

Ok, we are just wrapping up our 21 Day Fix Test Group so I wanted to give you a short 21 Day Fix Review. All I can say is "Wow!" First of all, the fact that it's only 21 Days makes it soo much easier on people and gives them that extra confidence boost that they can say, "Hey, I've COMPLETED a program!" And what do you do after completing a program? You celebrate and keep going!
After talking with our test group participants, they did feel that the nutrition guide was a little overwhelming at first. Most of them needed about 3 days of getting used to this idea of eating off of a list, using the containers for the portions, etc. Honestly, it's the same way with any program whether it's a Beachbody Program or not. Making a switch to a new habit (especially something as big as your nutrition) can daunting at first.
So, TIP #1: Start incorporating the containers and the ideas from the meal plan right away, even before you officially start your program or the challenge group. After a few days it doesn't take much thought and you're on your way.
This is one of the coolest things I've seen Shaun T (creator of Focus T25, Insanity, Asylum, Hip Hop Abs) and I'm pretty excited about it! Especially with our Paleo/Primal Challenge starting up soon, it's very cool to see a post like this (and I gotta say, it looks pretty similar to a Paleo/Primal grocery list, eh???)
Basically what this is is a 7 Day Slim down challenge, obviously cutting out grains, many fruits (don't get me wrong, that's not paleo but the focus on this challenge is quick weight loss and in the FAQ'S we discuss the reasons for limiting fruits), and giving you a basic guideline for your meals.
