Summer is finally here and where we are we are we finally have had our first hot day---yes, the kind of day that makes the 50 degree lake actually feel pretty good! So now that we are going to be heading to the fridge for some cool summer treats, I figured it'd be good to provide you with a short "go-to" list to keep you on track over these summer months.
By now I'm sure you've heard of the new Piyo Program being released from Beachbody. As a Coach, I'm always excited about brand new programs being released (and the chance to expand my fitness library). Many of you have asked, "How much will the new Beachbody Piyo Program Cost?" and I wanted to address that as well as give you the chance to earn over $90 in bonuses, as well as get the chance to work with yours truly AND get the Piyo Program for only $10 when purchased with Shakeology! So keep reading all the way to the end to find out how to take advantage of this!
But honestly, with this program I wasn't too thrilled at first. I've always been one of those guys who either tends to skips those Yoga days (or with P90X3 Yoga AND Pilates) more often than I do them.
I always felt like I'd rather just throw in a cardio workout (or just something where I'd be sweating) and it'd really feel like I got a workout in.
However, after hearing Chalene Johnson explain it herself on one of our private coach calls, I've since become more excited about the release.
What makes this different than some of the other Pilates and Yoga workouts offered by Beachbody is that it won't be too slow paced. Yes, the focus will be on strength, core, balance, and all of the other benefits that Yoga and Pilates offer, but it will for those that are a little A-D-D like I am. It will be fast paced and you will WORK UP A SWEAT!
Ok, here's the details that you probably came here looking for:
Cost: $59 for the program retail (if you'd like info on becoming a Preferred Customer and getting a 25% discount go here)
Cost with Shakeology: Release price I'm betting money that it'll be $140. After the initial month that it is on sale it will be at the regular price of $160. Shakeology normally retails for $129.99 so when purchased with the Challenge Pack, you'll be getting the Program for only $10! I'm also throwing in a ton of bonuses so SCROLL DOWN to see everything you'll get if you choose to work with me exclusively!
Length of the workouts: Most of the workouts are right at 30 minutes. From some of the coaches who have done the test group there is a shorter 20 minute workout as well as disc that runs about 45 minutes. As with the trend of Focus T25, the 21 Day Fix, and P90X3, we're trying to keep all of the workouts at 30 minutes.
When Can I Buy It? June 19th through Coaches Only.
We will be running an Exclusive Test Group complete with Live support ($19.97 monthly value), a Private Facebook Group ($9.97 value), a 1-on-1 Phone Consultation ($19.97 value), a bonus workout for our customers only ($19.99 Value), and even a bonus Piyo Shirt ($19.97 value) if you complete the Before/After Pictures and submit your story to use to use on our website (and to Team Beachbody).
Register here now to be put on our Exclusive Piyo List so you can order through us, get the $90 worth of extra bonuses as well as getting it for the all time low release when you order as a Challenge Pack for only $10!
It's day 3 and it's actually going really well. I had legs today and I'm getting more used to the workouts. The warm-up is quick and efficient and the workouts are very straightforward. There aren't any weird dance moves or footwork so if you are just starting it out, this is A GREAT PROGRAM. Now, I've started switching up the meals so I thought it'd be good to post my new meal plan for the 21 Day Fix. Also, we've added in the treat meals as well so you can see that as well.
Now, the treat meals is THE BIGGEST struggle I've personally had to deal with. I usually try to treat myself after a hard day at work with a beer, a box of cookies, etc. And no matter how hard I try to limit those, or say "I'll just have 2", if it's a Friday night I'm downing the whole box!
However, with 21 Day Fix, it's very easy to incorporate some "treat" meals regularly without going overboard. For example, this week, I have a glass of wine up to 3 nights per week, and then an orange container of chocolate covered acai berries the other 3 nights. So there's really only one night where I don't have a "treat" meal. And that's pretty awesome!
Today is day 1 of our 21 Day Fix Challenge. It's been a while since my wife, Allison, and I have been doing the same exact program, starting it together. I'm really excited about this because it will cut down on our workout time (we will do one workout in the morning, possibly with the Doubles Option, so in that case one in the morning and one at night).
We figured out our grocery list yesterday and the bill was actually a little cheaper with the food we bought (for us a typical grocery bill was anywhere from $150-200 per week depending on if we had to get diapers, toiletries, etc). And that's feeding a family of four. This week getting ready for the Fix we sat right in the middle at around $180, which I was actually pretty pleased with. So if you are worried about doing this because you think you'll be buying a bunch of new food, with the amounts that you eat and the portion control, you will be eating less food and it does last longer---so no worries, give it a shot ;)
