It's finally December, the election is over, things are finally settling down on Facebook (sort of...) and people are getting back to their daily lives besides attacking each other over who voted for who. For those of us who are Beachbody Coaches or involved in fitness, these past few months have been very interesting as far as seeing people's behaviors online, how social media, tweets, facebook videos, etc. can sway people's moods, reactions, and even friendships.
One little tweet or post can sway a whole nation! Just check out the latest news on Donald Trump! lol...

And here we have a team of Beachbody Coaches, sharing postive tips, feedback, and motivation, and it won't even get viewed! LOL!
So yes, it's been an insane past few months and I'm ready to get back my day to day operations, sharing my story and that of my clients, and doing what we do as Beachbody Coaches (and hopefully having people ready to change their lives---because heads up, regardless of who resides in that oval office, YOUR health, fitness, and future relies in YOUR hands... Not Hillary's... not Donald's...)

So now that we are all back to our daily lives, I don't know about you but it feels like I'm pulling myself out of a rut. I'm hesitant on what program to pick. I flip flop on meal plans (WHY the hell are there sooo many different meal plans!!! That's for another post...)
Keto... IIFYM... South Beach... Paleo... Portion Control...??!!!
If you are in a fitness rut, confused on what meal plan or what workout plan to follow, keep flip flopping on your decision or after the third day, then here's some advice for you---it doesn't make that much difference!
All of the diets work. All of the workout plans work. The simple recipe is this---move more, eat less, and eat more of the right of the foods. But you have to decide and follow through!
The follow through is the tough part. Everywhere you look you see "shiny new toys", the latest fitness gadgets, the Shake Weights, the fitness boards...
But what does it take to get real results?
It takes deciding what you are going to do. Committing to the plan. And following through until you see results.
Decide. Commit. Succeed.
It's been Beachbody's commitment for a long time--bringing top notch fitness and nutritional products to your home and providing support so you really can succeed. But I know the trend with coaches the past year or so with the new Beachbody OnDemand has been to treat our huge workout library like a big fitness buffet. There are SOO many options that we just pick and choose the ones we like. And that's fun!
But it's not necessarily what's going to see get us or our clients the best results.
Most of the top success stories that get submitted through Beachbody come from clients and challengers completing one program. Committing to 21-30-60-90 days with one trainer, one workout calendar, one nutrition plan, and following through to the end.
It's what Beachbody was founded on and why P90X was such a frickin' huge success. There were just two or three programs back in the day---you either did P90X or you quit!
And sure, there were a lot of people that quit, which is why we needed the strong ones---the ones who finished to help all of the new customers.
Which is why, in 2017, I think it's time that we return to where it all started. A simple premise of following one program, one nutrition plan, one workout calendar, and seeing it through to the end. It doesn't have to be P90x. It doesn't have to be Insanity. But you must Decide. Commit. Succeed. Hold yourself and others in your group accountable. Take your before pictures. Drink your shakeology. Be proof that home fitness plus simple nutrition equals amazing results.
That's what started all of this.
It's time we returned to our roots.
