Hey guys, I just finished filming a little bit of Insanity Round 9 for you. I tested it out for you this weekend. It just came in the mail. It had a special announcement for you Insanity lovers.
In December, BeachBody just announced the release of Shawn T’s new program called Insanity Max 30. That’s kind of playing off the whole Focus T25, you know, do it all in 25 minutes, except where T25 was a little bit watered down, especially if you tried something like Insanity, you know the moves were not as intense, some of the range of motion exercises. Like he decreased the range of motion for things like the Power Jumps, and turned them into Half Tucked Jumps. I don’t think you’re going to see any of that on the new Insanity Max 30.
Basically, what it looks like, there’s a bunch of new combination moves from Insanity, plus some new moves—they’re supposed to have 150 brand-new Insanity moves--which I don’t know how Shawn T can think of any more possible new moves that have to do with Insanity, Asylum, Asylum 2, and Focus T25, but apparently, he’s got some more stuff up his sleeve!
So, I’m real excited about it! It’s going to be how much you can push yourselves. You’ll have a whole 30 minutes. Basically, they call it “maxing out”. So you push as hard as you possibly can. When you need to take a break, you record it. I think in the dvds, they have people write it on a chalk board, like, their time, if they made it 5 minutes, 32 seconds. So the next time you do that workout, you try to push yourself past that.
I think it’s going to be a really cool gauge as far as seeing yourselves progress week to week doing the workout itself!
