We are just about to wrap up our first week of our Primal/Paleo Challenge which we kicked off with the #ST7DaySlimDown. And I wanted to share with you an example of what a typical day looks like using this meal plan just to give you an idea of what you're in for ;)
Breakfast: Spinach and Red Pepper Omelette (with avocado on the side)
Snack: Shakeology (and water... nothing fancy)
Lunch: Chicken breast in Napa Cabbage wrap with olives, red pepper, and avocado (good substitute for a sandwich!)
Snack: Whey Isolate Shake and almonds
Dinner: Spaghetti Squash, Fish Tacos (using the Napa Cabbage) with avocado, bok choy
As we wrap up, so far I've lost about 4 lbs so pretty happy with it! And this is one of the only slim down challenges where I've stopped having that afternoon crash when i get home from work so that part has been great!
On Wednesday (the third day) I did feel like I was crashing a little bit in my morning workouts so I'll either have to somehow work in my Pre-workout shake like it suggests or just push through ;) Since I do my workouts first thing in the morning, I was saving my Pre and Post Workout shake for my afternoon and evening snack, but moving forward that may help (if I can drag myself out of bed even earlier to have time to drink my shake, give it time to digest and workout... although I have a hard time seeing that happening... lol)
