When you're on a diet sometimes it's tough to not give into those cravings... the pizza, the cookies, the doughnuts...
Well, here's one of my favorite pizza recipes that's clean, it's packed with protein, and it's even got a little bit of bite with the Buffalo sauce ;)
This amazing recipe is something I adapted from a recipe out of one of my favorite fitness magazines. Here are your ingredients:
Whole Wheat Pizza Crust
Sliced tomatoes (2-3 medium sized---you'll be slicing them into thin slices and you'll need enough to cover the entire crust)
Canned Chicken (I prefer Tyson---it's better than the Walmart/Great Value Brand as far as taste goes)
Buffalo Sauce (look for low sodium if possible...)
Feta Cheese (you can substitute Mozzarella if you don't like Feta)
You simply the slice the tomatoes, layer them across the crust to taste. Take the chicken, dump it in a big mixing bowl, add a few TBLSP of Buffalo sauce to the chicken, mix it up, and spread it over top of the tomatoes. Sprinkle on some feta cheese, drip a little bit of buffalo sauce over top, and pop it in the oven.
Most pizza crusts call for cooking 8-10 minutes---just cook it long enough to the get the crust a little crispy and you're good to go! Enjoy ;)
